Verizon Wireless releases LTE Advanced

The nation's largest carrier, Verizon Wireless, just took another step ahead of the competition. Big Red announced the release of their next gen network called LTE Advanced, promising 50% faster peak speeds across over 450 cities in the United States. Best part is that you do not have to do anything to get it, other than own one of the listed compatible devices. According to Verizon, LTE Advanced technology combines multiple wireless connections together to create an even stronger one. Google Duo Now Available

Today, Google has finally made their highly anticipated video calling app available for download on the Play Store. Google Duo is Google's video calling solution that provides users a simple and clean experience. It's even easier than Apple's FaceTime and, in a way, makes it irrelevant because it can be used cross platform. The app does not use IDs or passwords, but instead uses your phone number in order to use the app. Do not worry iPhone users, you too can download Google Duo from Apple's App Store. LG V20 Announcement

The LG V10 was LG's first smartphone to have a second screen. The device, which was launched in fall 2015, will officially have a successor. LG, via social media, announced that they will be unveiling the LG V20 on September 6th, 2016 in San Francisco. Spec rumors were recently leaked out, but all must be taken with a grain of salt. The only thing confirmed is that it will be launched with the newest version of Android (Android Nougat 7.0). Now, I personally may be stretching this a bit, but what if these rumors turn out to be just smoke? What if the picture above, titled "Play More" that shows a pop-up book, is revealing what the device could actually be? I am thinking foldable smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7

Today at their Unpacked event in New York, Samsung officially took the wraps off the new Galaxy Note 7 (they skipped over the Note 6 to keep it in line with the current number of 'S' series phones). We have all of the information you need to know about Samsung's latest version of Note. CONFIRMED SPECS The phablet is expected to have a Snapdragon 820 quad core processor (2.15 and 1.6GHz) which will handle tasks with ease. Outside of the US, Samsung's own Exynos 8890 processor will utilized. Out of the box, the Note 7 will come with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2016

Today is the day where Samsung announces the upcoming Galaxy Note 7 at their Unpacked event in New York. According to the folks over at SamMobile, the Note 7 is expected to come with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal memory with micro SD option for expandable memory, has an IP68 water-resistant rating and is powered by a 3500 mAh battery. It also has a 12 mega-pixel rear camera and a 5 mega-pixel front-facing snapper. They also state that the new S-Pen will have the ability to work underwater. SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 7 RELEASE DATE

August is just about here and that means its time to expect another Note to be released. It is expected that Samsung will hold an event on August 2nd to announce the upcoming smartphone. Our sources, who will remain anonymous, have confirmed that Samsung will be releasing only a curved version of the Note 7. They have also revealed that the device will be released on August 19th. Whether that's a worldwide release date or just for certain regions remains to be seen.
