Samsung to resume selling Note 7

After a battery cell issue that caused dozens of reported fires or explosions, Samsung made an voluntary recall to replace the defective devices on September 2nd. Now, the Korean tech giant is finally pushing out replacement Note 7's and has plans to resume selling the device in some regions beginning September 28th. Also, Samsung sent out an e-mail this week letting consumers know that replacement devices should be in U.S. retail stores no later than September 21st. With IFA in full swing, let's take it back a few days ago when Lenovo/Moto announced the Moto Z Play. We all know about the Moto Z Force and the Moto Z, but now Lenovo has released a cheaper alternative to the Moto Z in the form of the Moto Z Play. The device may be cheaper, but it's certainly no slouch. Samsung Voluntarily Recalls Note 7

Ouch. In a voluntary move that will surely impact their mobile business, Samsung has made a worldwide recall on the Galaxy Note 7 amidst recent battery concerns. According to Samsung, there have been 35 cases that have been reported globally and that they have conducted an investigation that proved there is a battery cell issue. This is all stemming from reports of the phone catching fire or exploding while being charged.
