Co-founder of Android, Andy Rubin, has announced his own smartphone called Essential (Essential PH-1). This is a premium handset that sports a beautifully crafted design that aims to evolve with the user instead of becoming outdated. This essentially (see what I did there) means it comes with a modular aspect to it. The Essential is a gorgeous titanium made smartphone that has an edge-to-edge full display. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 covering the back of the device. This big screened, small phone has a 5.7-inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1312. Google announces Android O and new features detailed

Google held its annual I/O developer conference and introduced the next version of Android called Android O (betting the final name will be Android Oreo). They went into key details of the new features that Android O will offer. Here are some of the highlights: PICTURE-IN-PICTURE - Google has taken this feature right out of Samsung's book. Android O will enable picture-in-picture mode where you can watch videos in a small window while you continue to do tasks on the main screen. ASUS Zenfone AR to be exclusively sold by Verizon

During CES 2017, ASUS introduced the ASUS Zenfone AR, which is the world's first smartphone to be equipped with a whopping 8GB of RAM. It also is the first device to have both Google Tango and Daydream VR support. Having been introduced months ago and with very little news since, we finally have some word on the release of the smartphone. Yesterday, ASUS announced that Verizon Wireless will be the exclusive carrier of the Zenfone AR in the United States. According to an ASUS press release, the Verizon version of the device will only come with 6GB of RAM. However, that is still more RAM than any other phone in Verizon's lineup.
