More Pixel 2 features leaked out

We are a little less than a week away before Google unveils their next line of Pixel smartphones and the leaks just continues to fly in. This next set of leakss indicate features expected in the upcoming Pixel 2 handset. According to Android Police boss, Artem Russakovskii, an unverified source has claimed to have played with the Verizon Pixel 2. As always with unverified sources, please take these leaked features with the proverbial grain of salt. As expected, based on previous leaks, the HTC-made Pixel 2 will look very similar to its predecessor (different story with the Pixel 2 XL). The only difference will be the front-facing stereo speakers. Unfortunately, there will be only a single ca

Captured my Italian honeymoon on a Moto Z2 Force edition with the Hasselblad Moto Mod

So I got married a little over a month ago and just a few days before my big day, I got my hands on the new Moto Z2 Force edition. Knowing that I'd be going on my honeymoon to the beautiful country of Italy, I wanted something good for photographs. This gave me the idea to try out the Hasselblad Moto Mod and what a great decision that was. In case you did not know, the Hasselblad Moto Mod has 10x optical and 4x digital zoom. It has a 12-megapixel snapper with a f/3.5-6.5 aperture and Xenon flash. Additionally, the camera mod has OIS (optical image stabilization) and can record video in 1080p Full HD at 30fps. Definitely worthy to take on my trip. My honeymoon consisted of visits to Florence,

Why a $1000 iPhone is bad for everyone

About a week ago, Apple showed the world their latest iteration of iPhone(s) and Apple Watch. At their keynote event in the new Apple Park, they introduced the Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE, iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and the iPhone X (10). The biggest eye-popper wasn't new features (because most have been on Android for years), or the devices themselves, but was the unveiling of a $1,000 smartphone (iPhone X). This was certainly eye-opening, just not in a good way. A $1,000 iPhone is bad for everyone. Why? Why do you think Samsung's new Galaxy Note 8 is almost $1,000? With Samsung making the displays for Apple's new phones combined with price tag leaks, Samsung had to know that Apple would be releas

Google confirms Pixel 2 announcement

As we enter the middle of September, we have seen just about every 2017 smartphone unveiled. Except for a new iteration of Pixel by Google, but that will soon change. A picture of a new billboard that was put up by Google somewhere in Boston suggests that an announcement is near. The billboard says "Ask more of your phone," with Google's iconic 'G' logo below that and an October 4th date on the very bottom. In addition, Google also released a teaser site which asks the question "thinking about changing?" The site follows the question up by telling visitors to "stay tuned for more on October 4th." On top of the billboard and the new teaser site, Google also released a teaser trailer. The trai

Like the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, the Note 8 will sport an infinity display that features a screen that goes edge-to-edge and is nearly bezel-less. Samsung made the Galaxy Note 8 into a very powerful smartphone that is powered by a Qualcomm S
