According to The Information, the Chinese company is expected to bring their Mate 10 device stateside and it appears that AT&T will get the first crack at selling the Huawei-branded device sometime in February. Company plans should be revealed at some point during CES 2018, which is when we should get confirmation about the Mate 10 being sold by AT&T. Huawei (pronounced wah-way) has some high goals in mind. They expect to be the world's top smartpho

How to customize Active Edge on the Pixel 2/Pixel 2 XL

Google included a squeezable frame on its new flagship devices. When the edges of the device are squeezed, it automatically is set to launch the Google Assistant. This feature is called Active Edge. Personally, I do not need another way to launch this considering the Google Assistant needs a voice to be able to fully take advantage of what it has to offer. It would have been so much better if Google allowed users to use Active Edge to open up other things or perform certain actions. Fortunately, this can be done, thanks to an app called 'Button Mapper: Remap your keys,' by flar2. With this app, I was able to set my Active Edge to launch the camera when I squeeze my Pixel 2 XL. It does requir

Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ renders and potential announcement date leaked

The final month in a calendar year is always a fun time because rumors and leaks start to build up on the first phones of the new year. With that said, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ have been at the forefront of those rumors. Just recently, 91mobiles and MySmartPrice (courtesy of the very reputable @Onleaks) revealed renders of the upcoming flagships. From first look, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ seem to be a very marginal upgrade from this year's Galaxy S8/S8+. As far as design goes, the only truly noticeable difference is the camera and the new fingerprint sensor placement. It appears Samsung heard their critics and have centered the fingerprint sensor and placed it below the camera lens, but cri

How to use AR Stickers on Pixel

Android 8.1 Oreo is finally here! This new software update includes some bug fixes and brings some welcomed enhancements. The biggest enhancement is to the camera, which makes the highest rated smartphone camera even better. This enhancement is AR Stickers. This camera features takes advantage of Googles ARCore technology, essentially replacing Google Tango which is expected to shut down on March 1st, 2018. The Razer Phone is a complete beast of a phone and is perfect for gaming

Razer has officially entered the smartphone market and did so in a big way. Last month they announced an extremely powerful smartphone that's aimed at gamers (as they say). I am not a big gamer myself but the device has many things I want in a daily driver such as, a beautiful screen, long-lasting battery, amazing audio quality, and powerful specs that allows it to handle anything you throw its way. Time to dig in. DISPLAY AND PROCESSOR Perhaps one of the most impressive things about the Razer Phone is the display. It features a 5.7-inch IGZO (indium gallium zinc oxide) LCD Quad HD display (1440 x 2560 resolution) with a ridiculous 120 Hz refresh rate. This kind of refresh rate is found on g

120 second review: Google Pixel Buds

A few weeks ago, I got my hands on the Google Pixel Buds. You watched me unbox it, now it's time for my 120 second review on Google's wireless solution. There are many things I did like about the Pixel Buds, but things I also did not like. Personally, I do think many reviewers were overcritical on this product. Many reviewers have stated that they had issues pairing the Pixel Buds to their phones. I have had zero issues with pairing. I've successfully connected the buds to a Pixel XL and a Pixel 2 XL. Other reviewers have said they were confused on how to place the Pixel Buds back into the charging case. Again, no issue for me. In my opinion, the picture inside the case that shows you how to
