Lenovo flaunts a foldable tablet at its Tech World event

Lenovo is at it again. For a second straight year, the Chinese technology company put their unreleased foldable technology on display. A video on YouTube, by MSPoweruser, shows off a foldable tablet in action. The user is shown bending the tablet in half, operating the camera, and unfolding the device back to its full size.

The video shows an aesthetic flaw in the foldable device which could be one of the reasons why the product has not been distributed out to the masses yet. This flaw is a bend that appears in the middle of the screen when the device is unfolded back to its original state which is pretty noticeable when the screen is off.

According to the non-english video, the device display is 5.5-inches when folded and expands to 7.8-inches when unfolded. The folio concept also has a resolution of 1440 x 1920. Currently constructed, the device sports the 4-year-old Snapdragon 800 chipset but has been updated to the more recent Android Nougat 7.0 software. Expect a spec upgrade when it's ready for release

When all the kinks are worked out, foldable devices will eventually become available on the market and when it does, it will be glorious. Check out the video below and bring tissues for potential drool.
