Motorola introduces two more Moto Mods

On Tuesday, Motorola expanded their Moto Mod portfolio by introducing two new accessories for their Moto Z line of smartphones: the Lenovo Vital Moto Mod and the Livermorium Slider Keyboard Moto Mod.

The Lenovo Vital Moto Mod is designed to measure your health by giving you readings of five key vital signs: your heart rate, respiratory rate, pulse ox (oxygen level in the blood), body temperature, and systolic and diastolic blood pressure from your finger.

The Livermorium Slider Keyboard Moto Mod, which won the first Transform the Smartphone Challenge through Indiegogo, gives users a full QWERTY slider keyboard that can be tilted up to 60 degrees. This is great for consumers who hate typing on a touch screen and prefer the old school method of typing on a slide out keyboard.

Both of these new mods can eventually be had via Motorola's new Moto Z Market App. This new app is available on the Google Play store (where Moto Z devices are sold) and is only compatible with Moto Z smartphones.

The Livermorium Slider Keyboard Moto Mod will be the first to launch and should be available later this Winter for $99. Lastly, the Lenovo Vital Moto Mod will be available sometime in April for a whopping $395.
