Evan Blass (@evleaks) of VentureBeat strikes again, this time with a press render of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8. Over the years, Evan has been spot on with his leaks so you can be fairly certain that this is what the Galaxy S8 will look like. He also leaked out the first live photo and key details of the device. From the picture, you can see that this is a very tall device. This picture confirms that the traditional home button has been removed and that the front of the device is practically all screen. There appears to be two buttons on the left side and one on the right. On the left, the top button is the volume control and on the bottom is the dedicated Bixby AI button. On the right side is the power button.
Samsung is expected to release two variants of the Galaxy S8 -- a 5.8-inch model and a massive 6.2-inch model called the Galaxy S8+, but it is not clear on which model is being portrayed in the render. A few days ago, at MWC 2017, Samsung revealed that it will announce their next flagship on March 29th, 2017 at their Unpacked event in New York City. They also released a trailer teasing the announcement. Watch it below.
