Leakster Evan Blass is at it again. This time with leaked renders that reveal the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in three different colors: Black Sky, Orchid Grey and Arctic Silver. These colors, along with a possible purple model, are expected to be announced at the Samsung Unpacked event on March 29th. Both variants are expected to be released sometime in late April.
Evan Blass indicated that the top row of phones are the Galaxy S8, with the bottom row being the larger sibling, the Galaxy S8+. The most recent rumored specs indicate that the Galaxy S8 will have a 5. 8-inch super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2960. The Galaxy S8+ will have a massive 6.2-inch display. Both handsets will sport an Exynos 8895 chipset, or Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor. A 3000 mAh battery will be inside the smaller Galaxy S8, while the larger Galaxy S8+ will have a big 3500 mAh battery capacity. Additionally, both devices will incorporate 4GB of RAM and have Android Nougat 7.1 pre-installed. The duo will also have 64GB of internal memory with the option to expand memory via micro SD up to 256GB. Lastly, the handsets will also include a 12-megapixel main snapper, a 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a rear fingerprint scanner, an iris scanner, and the potential of having facial recognition software.
