The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 unveiling is set for August 23rd in New York City and a Samsung executive publicly said the device will be launched, in waves, starting in early September. Now, we may actually have a pre-order date.
According to an Australian Samsung website, a "Screen Assure" promotion is set to begin Friday, August 25th, which is two days after the phablet officially gets announced. This promotion entails one free screen replacement, within a year of purchase, for users who damage the screen.
It would make sense for this promotion to begin when consumers are able to start purchasing the device. Unfortunately, this information does not specify if this promotion is available to other regions or if it's just exclusive to Australia.
With less than a month away from Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 announcement, we won't have to wait much longer to find out.
