120 second review: Google Pixel Buds
A few weeks ago, I got my hands on the Google Pixel Buds. You watched me unbox it, now it's time for my 120 second review on Google's wireless solution. There are many things I did like about the Pixel Buds, but things I also did not like. Personally, I do think many reviewers were overcritical on this product.
Many reviewers have stated that they had issues pairing the Pixel Buds to their phones. I have had zero issues with pairing. I've successfully connected the buds to a Pixel XL and a Pixel 2 XL. Other reviewers have said they were confused on how to place the Pixel Buds back into the charging case. Again, no issue for me. In my opinion, the picture inside the case that shows you how to do it is pretty straightforward.
Overall, the Google Pixel Buds are a pretty solid product, however, I can't recommend this product based on its current price point of $160. To be fair, I also don't think Apple's Airpods are worth that price either. Personally, I would recommend this product if Google ever decides to drop it below $100, but watch the review and decide for yourself if the Pixel Buds are for you.
