Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ release date leaked

Another day, another leak. Yesterday, we saw a document from a Brazil telecommunications company that revealed the battery capacity for the Galaxy S9. Today, we have a leaked roadmap that highlights the release date of both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+.
According to the always reliable serial leaker Evan Blass (@Evleaks on Twitter), he allegedly received release date information from a C-level executive from a major casemaker. The leaker indicates that the devices will be announced on February 26th, pre-orders will begin on March 1st, and the handsets will be released on March 16th.
The Galaxy S9 and S9+ are not expected to be major overhauls from their predecessors. It is rumored that the upcoming devices will sport the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, enhanced cameras, a dust and water-resistant design, a centralized fingerprint scanner, and have 64GB of internal storage. Other features were recently leaked on a picture of the alleged retail packaging for the Galaxy S9.
As always with leaks, nothing is confirmed until you hear it from the manufacturers mouth.
