The fall season just got a lot more interesting. This morning, Evan Blass of VentureBeat cited a reliable source gave him information that Google will be releasing a Pixel-branded smartwatch this fall.
The search giant is expected to announce the Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, and a second generation Pixel Buds to go alongside the new smartwatch during their hardware event which will probably be held in October.
It is probably safe to assume that the watch will have the latest version of Wear OS and possibly have Google Pay built-in. Expect more rumors and leaks to trickle in over the next few months as we get closer to Google's event. As always, until there is an official announcement, take all rumors and leaks with a pinch of salt.
