We might have gotten an idea of what the upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones will look like. Over the weekend, a leaked photo revealed two screen protectors that are allegedly made for the unreleased Google handsets.
If the leaked image is for real (and I do desperately hope it's a fake), then it looks like the Pixel 3 XL will have the hated notch. I did say on my Pixel 3/Pixel 3 XL wishlist, that the larger model would probably have the notch and the smaller version would have a similar design to the Pixel 2 XL. I'm sure Google and other manufacturers have heard of the backlash the notch receives from consumers, so it's curious to why they're still pushing the notch on everyone.
According to the cutouts, it appears there will be dual front-facing cameras and a front-firing speaker, which would be both welcomed. The dual front-facing cameras has me to believe that the rear will also receive a pair of cameras as well.
If past launch dates are to go by, we are still several months away from an announcement. With that being said, there is still a chance that this could be a fake (pretty please), so keep that grain of salt in hand.
