Reliable tipster, Ice Universe on Twitter, recently leaked out images that allegedly shows two screen protectors for the unannounced Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The good news is, there is no notch. The bad news, well, it looks like that Galaxy Note 9 won't have a drastically different design that it's predecessor.
The tipster has a pretty solid track record with Samsung leaks and has more or less been spot on. According to the image, it appears the Galaxy Note 9 will have slightly thinner bezels than the Galaxy Note8. There are changes according to one of the screen protectors though, as it seems that the sensors at the top of the device are a bit larger with a little more space seen between the cutouts. In addition, it appears there is an additional sensor on the left side. Could it be a second front-facing camera?
At the time of this writing, Bloomberg has announced that Samsung will be unveiling the phablet on August 9th and that it will be released later that month. Bloomberg also noted that Samsung will be highlighting a camera upgrade during their Unpacked event that will take place in New York.
