Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL leaked in new renders
Today, newly leaked 5K CAD-based (computer assisted design) renders and two 360-degree videos show off Google's upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL flagship smartphones. The leaked renders and videos confirm just about everything we've heard about regarding the handsets.
Unfortunately, the Pixel 3 XL will sport the controversial notch display. It will have a 6.2-inch screen and possibly a 19:9 aspect ratio. According to Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks on Twitter) and MySmartPrice, the Pixel 3 XL will measure 158 x 76.6 x 7.9mm.
Moving right on to the smaller sibling, the Pixel 3 will not sport the notch. Instead, it will have slimmed down top and bottom bezels and a 5.3-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. As for the dimensions, the smaller handset will measure 145.6 x 68.2 x 7.9mm.
Both handsets are expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor under the hood, a single rear camera, potentially two front-facing cameras, a rear fingerprint scanner, and a USB Type-C port. The amount of RAM and storage wasn't specified, but it would be reasonable to expect 4GB of RAM (hopefully 6GB on the Pixel 3 XL) and up to 256GB of internal memory. The third-gen Pixel smartphones should be announced sometime in October.
