The Google Pixel 3 XL has been leaking like crazy lately. Yesterday, the handset leaked in all of it's glory in high quality photos. Today, we learned that the device has been fully reviewed from top to bottom. Mind you, the device has yet to be announced (in case you didn't know). It is worth mentioning that the Pixel 3 XL that was reviewed is a pre-production model with the codename "Nelit."
A Russian-based online publication called Mobile Review, basically delivered a full review of the unannounced smartphone. The reviewer did an unboxing and showed off everything included in the box (comes with free wired Pixel Buds), went over device features in detail, tested the cameras (also gave a camera comparison between Pixel 3 XL, Galaxy Note9 and the Huawei P20 Pro), revealed specs, and gave some good observations (like the screen not being bright enough in direct sunlight).
WHAT'S IN THE BOX GALLERY
In short, the review makes the Pixel 3 XL seem like a very modest upgrade with a downgrade in design (courtesy of the notch). Notch aside, the device looks nearly identical to last year's model. The front got boosted with a second front-facing camera, Android 9.0 Pie is pre-loaded, and Google finally added wireless charging, but everything else remains the same. Still a single rear camera, still no headphone jack, same limited Active Edge feature, etc.
The reviewer indicates that the Pixel 3 XL will come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 3430 mAh battery, and up to 128GB of internal storage. According to some screenshots provided by the reviewer, the rear features a single 12.2-megapixel camera while dual 8-megapixel shooters occupy the front.

Lastly, the review also gave us pricing on both upcoming Pixel devices. The smaller Pixel 3 will start at $649 and the Pixel 3 XL will carry a price tag of $749. These prices are likely for the 64GB variant. It will probably be another $100 for 128GB models. Both Pixel handsets are expected to be announced and released in October.
Read the whole review and let us know your thoughts! It's certainly worth a read!
