OnePlus 6T fully leaked in new 5K renders; sports waterdrop notch and an in-display fingerprint sens
Recently, an invitation leaked out that exposed the October 17th announcement date for the upcoming OnePlus 6T. Today, the highly anticipated device was leaked out in all of its glory in 5K renders and a 360-degree video.
Reliable leakster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks on Twitter), in collaboration with MySmartPrice, released the renders which reveal the OnePlus 6T sporting a waterdrop notch design. The waterdrop design is similar to the one found on the OPPO R17 and looks a lot better than the larger notch found on the OnePlus 6 and the iPhone X.
Curiously, a physical fingerprint scanner is absent which indicates that the device will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. Unfortunately, a headphone jack is also absent. This is a head-scratcher considering many OnePlus 6 fans apparently voted for the headphone jack as their favorite feature. This is just another example of another manufacturer not listening to their consumer base.
The OnePlus 6T is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 2.8 GHz processor, will have an Adreno 630 GPU, have up to 8GB of RAM, come with up to 256GB of internal storage, and have a dual camera setup that features a 16-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a 20-megapixel secondary lens. In addition, the OnePlus 6T is expected to measure 157.5 x 75.7 x 8.2mm and be 8.6mm thick. Lastly, it is said that the handset will feature a 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED display, with a 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution, and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
